Default Canthan armor sets for Elona proffesions?

If Canthan unique proffesions get a chance to wear Elona armor, will Dervish and Paragon have armor styles in Cantha and Tyria? Will there be a Kurzick/Luxon set for them?

What do you think?

This has definitely been discussed in the past resulting in much flamming; but I'm going to say no. They may support old professions (even non-core ones) in new campaigns; but i don't see why they would retroactively add stuff for them to old campaigns. Case in point: no rit/sin armors in Tyria.

Discussion end’s with “no they will not add armor or skills to old chapters for new characters”

They might, however, do what they did in Factions and have crafters that make new armor for the new professions and old armor for the others...

Consider the Tyrian assassin and ritualist armor you can get at Droks forge for a good example as to whether or not they'll do that for Paragons and Dervishes.

MSecorsky, consider Rit and Asa getting new armor in Elona... so imho its not that obvious. Factions had exotic armor crafters after all, hadn't they. If they added a Kurzick Paragon/Dervish set to Factions, it would be obainable to Nightfall owners only anyways and would be a nice bonus for those who own both campaigns. I personally like the idea...

...and would prefer to state it in an existing thread but the search function does not work (for me) so.. uh sorry

But Prophecies did not have an Exotic for Assassin and Ritualist. Thing’s move forward not backwards.
Prophecies > Factions > Nightfall

You did not see content added to Prophecies for the two new classes from factions, you will not see content for the Pargon and Dervish in Factions nor Prophecies.

Same goes for skills you will not see any what so ever skills in the previous chapters for new classes added.

The same type of thread about armor come up when Factions came out, and in six months you will see the same tread but it will be about the new classes added.

Well it would NOT be going backwards...
So far, all 8 profesions have armor sets in Factions and as we know all 10 will have sets in Nightfall. If D/P Faction armor arts were introduced into Factions, it would not mean going backwards, because only Nightfall owners would get this bonus (only they can create D or P characters and only if they own Factions, they can bring them to Cantha - obviously) - it would not go against the developement policy, on contrary, it would make annother point for buying more than one chapter for people that are strongly concerned about visual side of their characters.

hmm, yea Havnt seen any armor crafters in Tyria that will craft me some Tyrian armor for my assasin..

so I would assume not, but yes, I expect there to be FoW armor.

Its still a continuation on the debate about if you can make an Elonian Born Assasin.. which, while we assume NOT it raises some interesting questions about how the implement the Rit/ass new skills.
